Recruitment Video Municipality of Haarlemmermeer: From the Commercial Sector to Social Impact
We produced a series of employee portraits for the Municipality of Haarlemmermeer’s recruitment website. The goal of this specific video was to inspire career changers. The municipality wanted to demonstrate that you don’t necessarily need a typical government background or highly specific technical knowledge to play a crucial role, as long as you bring the right project management skills and mindset.
In this portrait, we follow an employee who transitioned from the commercial automotive industry to the municipality’s spatial planning domain. By highlighting his personal motivation (helping to build a better living environment for his children) we give the municipality’s massive challenge (building 20,000 new homes and ensuring accessibility) an immediate human face. The result is an authentic story proving that the government offers you the space to take responsibility and directly influence your own community.
