FAQ Series Kosovo Specialist Chambers: Who oversees the decisions of the judges in The Hague?

We produced a series of FAQ videos for the Kosovo Specialist Chambers (KSC). This episode focuses on the independence and oversight of judges. The court wanted to clarify to the public exactly how its system of checks and balances operates. The challenge for us was to explain an abstract legal principle, the separation of powers and judicial accountability, in a clear, factual, and convincing way.

In this video, we explain how judges are held accountable through a code of ethics and how oversight works through the appeals process. Like the rest of the series, this video was produced in English, Serbian, and Albanian.
